Financials
When you become a Nurses UK business owner you will be granted an exclusive territory under a 5-year licence. You will have two automatic rights to renew this licence for a further 5 + 5 years or longer should you wish. No additional licence fee is payable for renewals.
The Investment
Your licence fee is £12,000 and you will receive a Launch Package of the items that you need to get started plus your Induction Training to the value of £16,735 making the initial payment of £28,735 to become a Nurses UK Franchisee. (Figures quoted above are net of VAT).
Nursing Recruitment businesses need sufficient cashflow in order to ensure that nurses are paid (possibly before you have received payment from your client). In order to ensure that your business is on a sound financial footing we would advise that a minimum of £20,000 working capital is available in addition to the initial fee, to start your franchise.
Funding
Funding, subject to status will be available via the franchise department of most High Street Banks. In addition, the Government-backed Business Start-Up Loan scheme would allow you to borrow up to £25,000 in order to start your Nurses UK business. This figure is double if you have two directors. We will happily discuss funding options during our initial conversation.
Ongoing Costs
Management Service Fee (MSF) – 8% of your Gross Turnover (payable for the ongoing help and support that you will receive)
Marketing Fee – 1% of your Gross Turnover (the Marketing Fee must be used to help market the brand for your benefit).
Payroll Fee – 0.25% of the value of your payroll. (You will benefit from Invoicing and Payroll being handled centrally from Head Office)
NB. All the above quoted figures are exclusive of VAT.
We will be happy to discuss projected sales and profitability figures as we progress with your inquiry. We would expect a successful Nurses UK branch to achieve a seven-figure turnover with a pre-tax profit percentage in double figures.
