Three weeks in, and they’re already filling shifts? Here’s how Nurses UK Newcastle did it
Do you remember me telling you last month about the new Nurses UK franchisees in training to take on a brand new territory in Newcastle – Hammad, Hasaan, and Avaiz?
Well, they’re up and running now and are absolutely smashing it. I knew they would do well given the winning combination of their energy and ambition, and the fantastic Nurses UK franchise business model, but even I’m stunned by just how much progress they’ve made in such a short time.
It’s only been 3 weeks, but they’ve already got their first nurse out there, working. Here’s how those incredible first few weeks played out:
Week One: Training & Foundation
While the new franchisees were in training at head office, the Nurses UK marketing team got to work launching their presence in Newcastle. By the end of that first week, six nurses had already registered to work with them. Thanks to the regular posting and updating Nurses UK does online, and the contributions they make to the bigger conversation around nursing across the UK, word had already spread about what set them apart.
Week Two: Boots on the Ground
Back in Newcastle, the team hit the ground running with countless introductory calls to prospective clients. They followed up with face-to-face visits, making sure every potential client knew that Nurses UK Newcastle had arrived and was ready to support their staffing needs. Meanwhile, all background checks on their registered nurses were completed, ensuring that they were fully compliant and making them available for work. Daily social media posts kept building awareness of the Nurses UK brand across the region.
Week Three: First Shift Filled!
This is when the new team realised all their hard work was going to pay off far faster than they expected. Three agreements were signed confirming that three new clients would use the service as soon as a need arises. A prospective client called with a short notice request for a nurse. The Newcastle team matched them with one of their fully vetted, registered nurses and successfully filled the shift within record time.
That’s three weeks in, and a Nurses UK Newcastle nurse, has already completed their first shift. Well ahead of any of their business plan projections.
What was the secret of their success?
Well, I don’t want to take away from how talented and dedicated Hammad, Hasaan, and Avaiz are – that’s a huge part of what got them to this major milestone – but what put all that talent into meaningful action was following the system laid out for them.
It’s solid proof that the Nurses UK franchise model works, and that it attracts all the right people – both as franchisees, and as nurses. The Newcastle team trusted the process, put in the effort, and the results followed.
Imagine what a Nurses UK franchise could do for you…
The Newcastle team may be among the first to join the franchise, but I am confident their story is one we’re going to see replicated time and time again as the network grows.
Maybe the next big success story will be yours?
