Exciting news: Nurses UK welcomes its first franchisees in Orpington!
In most walks of life being Number 1 is the coveted spot. This is not always the case in franchising, however. There is a general reluctance to be the first franchisee even if the founding business can show a multi-million-pound turnover like Nurses UK. I completely understand if you’ve been feeling that way, too.
Starting a new business is a huge leap, even with the backing of a proven franchise model. Most people want to see how well others succeed before they put their hard-earned money – and their future – on the line.
Of course, there are a lot of advantages to being among the first franchisees to join a network. For example, you get a much wider choice of territory as multiple locations will be available, and you can expect an even higher level of support from your franchisor as their main focus will be on you.
Which is why we are now extremely proud to introduce the very first franchisees to join the Nurses UK franchise!
Meet Cheong & Magdalene – new owners of Nurses UK Orpington
Cheong and Magdalene are a dynamic husband and wife duo who bring a wealth of both healthcare and business experience to the table, making them the perfect team to take on this opportunity.
As a former Specsavers franchisee and optometrist with over 20 years in healthcare, Cheong has experienced first-hand the staffing challenges faced by healthcare providers. He was inspired to join Nurses UK as he saw their business model as way to finally deliver the kind of reliable, high-quality staffing solutions the sector so desperately needs. He is keen to build a team in Orpington which is caring, capable and committed, values which he believes will help shape the future of healthcare in his local community. When he’s not hard at work, he enjoys family life with his wife and two teenagers, playing basketball, and planning his next alpine ski trip.
After years in the corporate world and running her own real estate business, Magdalene wanted to build something that made a real difference, and Nurses UK was the perfect fit. Combining her business expertise with a genuine passion for people, she plans to focus on creating a supportive local team and delivering the best possible service to hospitals, care homes, and clinics across Orpington. Dedicated, energetic, and community-minded, Magdalene thrives on forming strong relationships with both clients and staff. Away from work, she’s a proud mum of two, an enthusiastic home cook, and loves staying active with fitness classes and family celebrations.
“I’m genuinely excited about the journey ahead and grateful to be leading a branch with values that reflect my own – dedication, care, and connection.”
We can’t wait to see everything Cheong and Magdalene will achieve together, so watch this space for updates once they’re settled in.
So, if you were hoping to be the very first to join one of the UK’s most exciting new franchises, I’m afraid you’ve missed out! However, you certainly haven’t missed out on a fantastic opportunity.
In fact, now might be a better time to join than ever
With their first franchisee office firmly established, and a possible 2nd in the pipeline very soon, the Nurses UK franchise is no longer just a great concept, it’s a proven success. By becoming part of it now, you’ll benefit from all the groundwork which has already been laid, but still be coming in early enough to enjoy all the advantages of being among the first to join an emerging, new network.
It really is the best of both worlds! So, if this sounds like the kind of opportunity you’ve been waiting for, let’s talk.
With kind regards,
